LOOK WHAT WE'RE STUDYING. . . .

Reading:

Recognizing uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet. We will be concentrating on writing the uppercase and lowercase letter T and the sounds for t.

Oral reading.  Please practice every night.

Math:  Recognizing numerals 0-20 and counting to 25

Writing:  First name and numerals

Social Studies:  We are discussing Fire Prevention.

Remember to send in those box tops.  10 earns a prize.

Library day is Monday, but books need returned on Friday.

We are beginning a new month for Accelerated Reader.  Students must have 3 points at the end of October.  The books we read are usually worth 1/2 point and that is if you make a 100%.  So, it is very important that library books are read to the students everynight.

Students need to be working on the areas of the progress report that they received a P or N in.  Also, be working on birthdays, phone numbers, full name, address (town, county, state).
